About the Reseller News Innovation Awards
The annual Reseller News Innovation Awards recognise excellence across the New Zealand technology channel, including partners, start-ups, distributors, marketplaces, vendors and individuals contributing to customer and industry progress. The winners to be revealed at the awards celebration in Auckland on 15 October 2026.
Recognising Sognos' Work with Auckland Airport
For Sognos, this finalist recognition reflects the strength of its work across Microsoft-native field service and frontline operations. The submitted project was based on work delivered for Auckland Airport, where Sognos implemented a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service solution to support fault management across airfield and landside assets.
A More Connected Approach to Fault Management
The project focused on strengthening fault management by creating a more connected way to manage faults, work allocation and reporting. The solution supported fault logging, fault diagnosis, auto-routing, scheduling, mobile field activity, technician and contractor coordination, cost recovery, operational and compliance-related reporting.
Integrating Fault Management into the Wider Operating Environment
It also integrated with key operational systems, including JDE CAM, IMPAC Risk Management, Incident Management, ArcGIS and Emergency Management, helping bring fault management into a more connected operating environment.

In field service environments, technology only delivers value when it supports the way teams work every day. The Auckland Airport project is a strong example of Sognos' approach: understanding the operational detail, designing around real work and using Microsoft platforms to create practical systems that can improve over time.
